Aalimiyah Program

A structured Islamic Studies program designed to provide in-depth knowledge of Islamic sciences and classical texts, tailored for those seeking a solid foundation in religious scholarship.

In traditional seminaries, the initial few years are spent in mastering the Arabic language. This includes mastering, reading, writing and speaking. All subjects related to the Arabic language are covered, such as Syntax, Morphology, Rhetoric, Composition, and much more. Along with the studies in Arabic, students in the program will cover subjects such as Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Tafsir, Hadith, and principles of these sciences.

Students have the flexibility of choosing to complete this course full time or part time.

Full Time: Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm

Part Time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7pm to 10pm Saturday 7am.

An average Full time Aalimiyah program runs between 7-8 years. Hence, students completing the Aalimiyah program part-time can expect to  spend at least 10-12 years in completing the full program.

*Note: To be able to be accepted into the core Aalimiyah program, all candidates must be able to recite one page of Qur’an within 90 seconds.

If a candidate completes within two minutes but greater than 90 seconds, additional classes will need to be taken, and admission will be granted to the core program on a probationary basis.

All candidates requiring more than two minutes will be admitted into our 1-year foundational year to improve recitation.
